Youth Department

Don't let
anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example
for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in
purity.

 Youth are you looking for a place to learn,
grow spiritually and have fun all at the same time? Look no more;
it's right here!
Falling River's Youth Department (Grades
9-12) has all of this and more. Exciting Sunday School, Sunday night
Bible Study plus participation in our worship service monthly by the Youth
Choir.
Some of our activities over the past year
have included:
- Christmas caroling to the shut-ins of
the community.
- The "after exams" lock-in at
the YMCA
- Centrifuge conference at Eagle Eyrie,
Virginia
- The Youth Evangelism Conference (YEC) in
Richmond, Virginia.
- Our annual youth retreat
- The Youth vs. Adults Bible Challenge
(the youth are 3 - 1 by the way!)
- Not to mention the cookouts and
ballgames.
With a group of dedicated adult youth
leaders, we see nothing
but good things in the future for this fine group
of young people at Falling River Baptist Church. The only thing that
is missing is YOU!! We hope to see you this Sunday!
